Free dental services offered

September 7, 2013

EASLEY — A local dentist hopes to help 50-60 patients for free next week-end.

Dr. Michael Twitchell and Family Dental Health of Easley will host the free dental care event Sept. 14. The event is expected to provide services to 50-60 people between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Appointments are recommended and patients with appointments will receive priority to walk-up patients.

The team at Family Dental Health will provide adult patients one free service – an extraction, a filling or a cleaning. The event is the result of a donation of time and talent by professional dentists, hygienists and assistants.

“Family Dental Health will donate thousands of dollars in free dental care and provide much needed relief to people in the community,” said Twitchell.

The event will take place at 223 Dayton School Road, Suite 103, Easley across from Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Waiting will be outside, so patients should dress appropriately for the weather and bring snacks, water and chairs.

This is the fourth in a series of Family Dental health offices owned by Dr. Rob Safrit. At the three previous events, more than 400 people received more than $100,000 in free dental treatment.
