Backyard Poultry Workshop


The Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service will conduct a day-long Backyard Poultry Workshop Nov. 1.


It will be held from 10 a.m – 4 p.m. at the Pee Dee Research and Education Center. There is the offsite option to attend the live streaming video workshop viewed from the Greenville Extension Office. Participants in the Greenville location will have the opportunity to ask questions. The in-person session and the offsite session cost is $65, which includes class materials, lunch, and refreshments. The program will cover several important aspects to backyard poultry production. The program should be beneficial to new and existing backyard poultry producers.


The in-person session for the Backyard Poultry Workshop will be held at the Pee Dee Research and Education Center located at 2200 Pocket Road, Florence, SC 29506. To register for the in-person session, contact Lee Van Vlake at (843) 661-4800 Ext. 0.


The live streaming video workshop will be offered offsite and viewed from the Greenville Extension Office, 301 University Ridge, Suite 4300, Greenville, SC 29601.
