WrenStock 2014 set for May 31 at Anderson Motor Speedway

ANDERSON — Attention Wren alumni of the classes from 1958 to 2003: WrenStock 2014 – billed as the South’s largest high school reunion – will be held May 31 at Anderson Motor Speedway. Gates will open at 2 p.m.

Choice Entertainment Carolina’s featuring Wren’s own Chris and Justin Trotter will provide entertainment and karaoke.

WrenStock is a tailgating event in a relaxed atmosphere for reuniting with schoolmates. Those attending are encouraged to bring their grills, chairs, tents and RVs, to come for the day or come for the night.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 after the May 5 get-together. T-shirts in sizes small to extra-large will be $10 and $12 for sizes 2x and larger.

Tickets will be available at the monthly Get Together or from Steve Crumley, Pam Ouzts Sutherland, Karen Haney, Tony McClure at Powdersville Insurance, or Rogers Outdoor Equipment on S.C. 8/81.

Those out-of-town can send a check payable to WrenStock to Steve Crumley, 102 Banfield Court, Anderson, SC 29621. Tickets will be held for pick-up at the gate the day of the event.

Something new this year: The class with the most alumni present will win the Wren Hurricanes “Category 5” trophy.
