WALHALLA — The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in regards to an investigation of two drive-by shootings that occurred within 90 minutes of each other in April 2013 and one that occurred in February 2014.
In April 2013, the Sheriff’s Office was seeking the public’s help concerning two drive-by shootings that occurred at two different residences in the early morning hours of April 10, 2013.
According to investigators reports, the first shooting happened on Gallo Way near Country Village Drive off Shiloh Road just before 4 a.m. The second shooting took place a little over an hour and a half later on Dyar Road between Cherokee Gardens and Old Clemson Highway.
No injuries were reported but there was some property damage to residences at both locations.
Oconee County sheriff’s deputies believed that a blue Crown Victoria might have been involved in both shootings.
On Feb. 1, 2014, deputies were called to the same Dyar Road address around 4 a.m. in response to a possible drive-by shooting incident. The homeowner told deputies he heard several gunshots in front of his residence.
The Sheriff’s Office believes all the shootings could be related. No other shootings have been reported at either address.
