WALHALLA — The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Walhalla woman on March 16 on multiple charges, which include burglary and larceny.
April Michelle Norton, 32, of 318 Rock Crusher Road in Walhalla, was charged with two counts of first degree burglary and one count of petit larceny.
According to warrants, Norton is charged with breaking into a residence on Corley Road in the Walhalla area on Jan. 28 and stealing guns and a laptop computer.
According to the incident report, the complainant stated that 20 or more guns were stolen.
Norton is also charged with stealing a diamond ring, a video camera, a SIM card and a checkbook from a location on Wades Drive in the Walhalla area on March 14.
According to incident reports, the value of the diamond ring taken is around $15,000.
Norton is being held at the Oconee County Detention Center on a $70,000 surety bond.
