PICKENS — The Pickens County Museum’s “Music in the Mountains 2014” continued this past weekend with the Hagood Mill hosting a free “Deep Winter Blues” concert. The concert featured Steve McGaha, well known upstate blues guitarist, teacher and 2003 winner of the prestigious Jean Laney Harris Folk Heritage Award, along with harmonica master Freddie Vanderford. Blues guitarist J. Michael King was the special guest.
