Andrea Scrivner and Malibu, the miniature rescue horse walked with Warehouse Church in Saturday’s Easley Christmas Parade. “He’s been called a girl all day,” Scrivner said of Malibu. “He’s a boy. I guess it’s the shoes. He was skin and bones when we got him several months ago, but he is eating well now.” The Pickens parade is tonight at 7 p.m. The Norris Parade at 11 a.m. Saturday and Dacusville Parade is Saturday at 2 p.m. The Liberty Parade is Sunday at 3 p.m. Julie Capaldi, president of the United Way of Pickens County, served as Grand Marshall in Saturday’s Easley Christmas Parade along with the “Marshallettes.” Capaldi has led the United Way for 20 years this year.
