ANDERSON — Melissa Dunn of Anderson Oconee Behavioral Health has recognized Community Services Director Lloyd Robison of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office for his innovation and perseverance in reducing underage drinking in South Carolina.
The award was presented April 1 at the South Carolina Underage Drinking Leadership Summit in Columbia.
Robison is the Community Services Director at the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and has been serving the agency since 2010. His duties include providing coordinated efforts of the Alcohol Enforcement Team to conduct alcohol sale compliance checks at businesses throughout Anderson County.
The recognition award was presented to Robison because of his leadership efforts that redeveloped the Alcohol Enforcement Team over the past six months in Anderson County. The team is now conducting compliance checks for underage alcohol sales monthly and recently had great success during Operation Right Choice.
Robison not only coordinates efforts of the Alcohol Enforcement Team but all aspects of Community Services of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office. He frequently conducts community programs and presentations on numerous law enforcement topics. In 2013 Robison and the Community Services division conducted 211 presentations to the citizens of Anderson County.
