WHAT: Learning to drive is a big step in life’s journey. On Friday, State Farm Agent Seth Crow in Liberty will join with hundreds of other agents across North America in a show of support for teen drivers, helping them stay safe as they embark on the road ahead. As part of the company’s Celebrate My Drive® program, State Farm is offering teens across the U.S. and Canada the opportunity to learn more about safe driving, win grant money for their school, and be one of two schools to win a free concert by Grammy award winner Kelly Clarkson.

State Farm is amplifying the conversation around teen driving safety by hosting Celebrate My Drive® events in communities across the U.S. and Canada. Liberty High School students will receive safe driving tips, give-away items and participate in raffles for free gas cards. State Farm Agent Seth Crow is encouraging area residents to attend in support of teens learning to drive and preparing for the road ahead.

Communities can also help Liberty High School win prizes by committing to be safe drivers once daily between Oct. 18 and Oct. 26 at www.celebratemydrive.com. The top 100 high schools with the most safe driving commitments will be awarded grants ranging from $25,000 to $100,000. The top two schools will win a grand prize of a private concert by Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson.

About Celebrate My Drive:

Celebrate My Drive® is a different approach to a leading public health risk. Car crashes are the number one killer of teens, and a teen’s first year on the road is the most dangerous. Using research as a guide, State Farm is approaching teen driver safety, a winnable public health battle, by engaging teens while they learn to drive in a supportive and positive way. It’s a community celebration of safe driving habits emphasizing the benefits of safe choices as teens celebrate the freedom that comes with getting a drivers’ license.
