LIBERTY – Cotton Eyed Joes will host a Toy Drive, Cruise-In and Gospel singing on Sunday, Dec. 13 at their Liberty location to benefit Country Santa.

Donna Stargel of Cotton Eyed Joes said they contacted Liberty Elementary and Middle Schools to help with a need around the Christmas holidays to help families in the community. Country Santa was the charity that was mentioned to them.

“We will be taking any kind of toys, new or used as long as the toys are in good condition,” Stargel said. “People can also bring canned food goods, general household goods or anything that could help a family during this time of year.”

The Cruise-In is free with no registration. Stargel said this is a “show and tell” type event. Bring your cars for people to look at.

Any vehicle or bike is accepted whether it is a hotrod, classic car or something else.

There will also be several Gospel groups singing during the event. Concessions will be available at the event. A local restaurant will be selling hotdog plates.

The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Dec. 13 and end around 5:00 p.m.

Cotton Eyed Joes is located at 2030 Greenville Hwy. (Hwy 93) in Liberty. For more information, call Donna Stargel at 982-0942.
