The Town of Norris are teaming up once again to present Norris Fest.
This year’s festival will be held 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, May 14 at the Norris Recreation Fields, said organizer Janie Swords with First Baptist Church Norris.
This year’s line-up of entertainment includes the Cane Creek Bluegrass Band, a comedian and the God Squad, Swords said.
The festival will feature face painting, kids games, a dunking booth, a bungee run and more.
Work up an appetite doing all that? Norris Fest will be serving up funnel cakes, snow cones, hot dogs and drinks, Swords said.
“Everything is free,” she said.
The Bloodmobile will be doing a blood drive — and doing a drawing for a $25 gift certificate from Garners Hunting and Fishing — and Baptist Easley will be offering some testing at the festival.
“The Clemson University Youth Learning Institute’s Zest Quest will be there showing us how to live a healthy lifestyle,” Swords said.
Attendees have a chance to win one of many prizes during Norris fest, including a boys’ bicycles, six $25 Wal-Mart cards and the grand prize, a $100 Wal-Mart gift card.
To have a chance at winning, simply pick up at ticket at the registration booths located at the main entrance and the side entrance of the festival, Swords said.
“Come by the registration tables and pick up a ticket,” she said.
First Baptist Norris and Faith Baptist will be offering shuttle service from their churches to the rec fields beginning at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Swords said.

Swords said this year could be the last Norris Fest.
First Baptist Church Norris wants to host more events at its newly-completed Family Life Center, including sports camps and ministries for the hungry in the area.Swords said.
That ministry to the hungry could include free lunches on Wednesdays, a soup kitchen and more Harvest Food giveaways.
The church hosted a Harvest Food giveaway earlier this year, and church officials told the Sentinel another one was planned for this fall.
The church’s first sports camp could be this summer.
