EASLEY — Clayton W. Looper, 85, of Easley, a WW II veteran of the Asian Pacific Theater passed away on Dec 7th, 2012. Born in Greenville, he was the son of James Columbus and Stella Burdine Looper. He was the youngest son, with predeceased brothers Dr. Charles E Looper and James W Looper, and a sister, June Looper Dean.

He retired with Bell South after 40 years of service as assistant manager. He was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Clayton is survived by his wife of 63 years, Frances Turner looper, and his daughter, Marie Looper.

Crypt side services were held Monday, Dec 10th, at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum, Pickens.
