More details are expected this morning in the case of the former Pickens police officer fired after he blogged about ticketing Clemson coach Dabo Swinney.

The officer, Michael McClatchy, will hold a press conference this morning. He told an Easley Progress reporter last week, “There is some untruth to the statement that was released by the police department.”

A police department release said in part that McClatchy was fired after he was determined to have blogged about the ticketing while he was on duty using a city computer.
