Feed a Hungry Child

Pickens auctioneer Mike Hendrix takes bids for items in the live auction that was part of a Pickens Rotary Club fundraiser Saturday night at Pickens First Baptist Church. The club raised $15,000 after expenses that will be donated to Feed a Hungry Child, a group that helps feed hungry Pickens County elementary school students. Almost 300 people attended the event that included a spaghetti dinner and silent auction. Rotarians and Interact Club members from Pickens High School provided service at the event.
