ARIAL — A dead body has been found adjacent to the Arial Plant of Alice Manufacturing Company Inc. just off Highway 8 between Easley and Pickens.
Pickens County Sheriff’s Office officials are on the scene investigating this morning.
“A passing motorist notified the sheriff’s office at approximately 7:15 a.m. this morning after observing what they thought to be a person hanging from a rope,” Chief Deputy Creed Hashe said. “Detectives are reporting that there does not appear to be any indicators of foul play and preliminary reports are that the incident is self-inflicted. The victim is an adult.”
