The Pickens County Educators-Retired will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, at the Pizza Inn in Pickens. The speaker will be Judy Edwards, chair of the board of Trustees, School District of Pickens County. All retired teachers are invited to attend.

If you like to knit, crochet, or do needlepoint, or if you have always wanted to learn, join in on Sit and Stitch at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley! This group meets regularly at 10:30 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month. So join us on Saturday, May 18 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley. Ztorytime with Little Zax and Friends @ Your Library!

Come listen to some savory stories served up just right by our friends from Zaxby’s on Monday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley. The Zaxby’s mascot, Little Zax will be on hand for photos. He will also be at the at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 10 for a meet and greet. While visiting the library, kids can get signed up for the Zaxby’s WordyBird Club and earn a free Zax Kidz Meal just for reading. These programs are free and open to all. PPC Child Development Center Kids Classic 2nd Annual Golf Tournament

Come play “Fore the Kids” as Pickens Presbyterian Church Child Development Center hosts its 2nd Annual Golf Classic on Saturday, June 15 at The Rock at Jocassee. Registration is at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. $100 per person or $400 per team (including breakfast & lunch). Hole in One prizes include a BMW, airline tickets and more.
