Easley, Liberty teams claim softball wins

Easley Carolina Girls 18, Liberty Pink Panthers 6 — Easley scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to seal the victory.

Easley Slammers 8, Easley Tsunamis 7 — Olivia Durham was the winning pitcher as she worked three innings. Hannah Grace Bryson worked the final inning to gain the save. Pressley Owen and Bryon each hit a home run and a single for the Slammers. Karsyn Van Deventer had a triple and three RBI to lead the Tsunamis. She also pitched one inning. Tara McCullough was the starting pitcher and worked two innings. She also had a hit and RBI.

Easley Slammers 14, Wren 8 — The Slammers fell behind 7-2 in the first inning before rallying for the win. After struggling in the first inning, Easley pitcher Hannah Grace Bryson found her groove and allowed just one run after the first inning. She struck out the side in the final inning, finishing with seven strikeouts. Olivia Durham provided the big spark for the Slammers with a grand slam in the third inning. Pressley Owen contributed two triples while Brittany Logan and Meredith Grant also had hits for Easley.

Liberty 13, Easley Minions 6 — Autumn Tuck paced the Easley attack with a double and a single. Laney Winchester had a double while Jayda Vaughn and Megan Chandler each had a single.

Easley Tsunamis 12, Easley Minions 12 (tie) — Sophia Roberts and Tory Durham each scored a pair of runs to lead the Tsunamis. Tara McCullough, Tristan Locke, Karsyn Van Deventer, Katie Gantt, Dakota Savage, Lyndsey Posey, Kellie Ferrell and Regan McQueen each scored one run for the Tsunamis.

Dixie Ponytails

Easley Lady Rebelz 3, Liberty 3 (tie) —Lexi Greer pitched six innings to lead Easley.

Easley Lady Rebelz 17, Pendleton 5 — Addison Pitts was the winning pitcher and got relief help from Lexi Greer. Gabby Gillespie had a hit and drove in two runs to highlight the game for Easley.
