Haley to endorse Martin Thursday

PICKENS COUNTY—South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley is expected to endorse Larry Martin tomorrow in a hotly contested state Senate race.

Martin campaign officials said today that Haley will be in Easley to make the official announcement at city hall at 12:30 p.m.

The endorsement comes just days after Martin’s debate with petition candidate Rex Rice at Tri-County Technical College’s Easley campus.

The general election is set for Nov. 6.
