EASLEY – Patrol officer Justin Stegall of the Easley Police Department knew that a career in uniform was something that he always wanted to do. “I have lived in Easley my entire life,”Stegall said. “Nothing would have given me more happiness than being able to serve this community and keep my hometown safe.” Stegall is a lifelong resident of Pickens County and is a 2005 graduate of Easley High School where he played on the football team. ...

PICKENS COUNTY—Two Pickens High seniors will soon be looking to perfect their individual crafts at the next level. Amber Hart and Jeremiah Parker signed letters to continue their athletic careers at Sierra Nevada College and Limestone College respectively. GREENVILLE—The Easley High golf team’s effort to defend its state title fell just short on Tuesday afternoon at Furman University. The Green Wave completed 56 holes with a stroke total of 930, securing a third place finish in the state championship tournament.
