Students Named to Tri-County’s Academic Distinction List PENDLETON —- Thirty students have been named to Tri-County Technical College’s Academic Distinction List for fall 2012.
To be eligible for the Academic Distinction List, a student must be enrolled in six to eleven credit hours for two consecutive terms, and earn at least twelve credit hours during the two consecutive terms, with a grade of A in each attempted course.

One Hundred and Eighty-Three Students Named to Tri-County’s President’s List for Fall 2012 PENDLETON —- One hundred and eighty-three students have been named to Tri-County Technical College’s President’s List for fall 2012.
To be eligible for the President’s List, a student must be classified as a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking student; earn at least 12 credit hours in courses numbered 100 or above; attain a GPR of 4.00; and cannot earn a “F,” “WF,” or “U” grade for courses numbered 100 or below.

Easley softball posts pair of victories EASLEY — The Easley High School varsity softball team won two of three games last week, including one that gained them a measure of revenge on Wren and the other against previously undefeated Greenwood.
Easley opened the week with a narrow 6-5 loss to Laurens as the Lady Raiders scored a pair of runs in the last inning for the win. The Lady Green Wave then beat Wren 9-7 and closed out the week with a 3-2 decision over Greenwood.
