Any day of the week you might find a Durham’s Hardwood truck hauling giant logs through Pickens going to the company’s saw mill where the massive logs are rendered to a variety of hardwood products, including hardwood flooring. The company, which has been in business for 29 years, employs 60 people. This truck was spotted on Main Street Friday.

EASLEY — Pickens County Meals on Wheels took a big step forward last week with the donation of Liberty Middle Schools kitchen and cafeteria from Pickens County.
