Donors are welcome to stop by the Bank’s branch, located at 6602 Calhoun Memorial Hwy., during the blood drive. Refreshments will be served to those donating. Donors will also have the choice of a free Clemson or Carolina T-shirt.
The Blood Connection, founded in 1979, is the largest non-profit, community blood center in the Upstate of South Carolina. It provides 100 percent of the volunteer blood supply to local hospitals. The Blood Connection operates centers in four Upstate counties and collects more than 85,000 blood units each year.
