CENTRAL - Kid's Day has been an annual event each year during the spring and the Southern Wesleyan University baseball program has announced four dates on the schedule for kids 12 and under.

The first date will be held Saturday, February 12 as the Warriors will be hosting Toccoa Falls College. All kids 12 and under will receive free admission, free drink and allowed to take the field with the Warriors for the National Anthem.

The doubleheader begins at noon with any kids wishing to take the field with the team needing to arrive by 11:45am.

Free pizza cards will be given away every other inning, courtesy of Pizza Pro in the Central Wal-Mart shopping center.

Additional Kid's Day games will be held on Saturday, February 26 at noon as the Warriors host Reinhardt College and then again on Saturday, March 12 at noon as SWU takes on AUM.

The final date will be held Saturday, April 23 at 1 p.m. as Shorter University visits Dr. C. Keith Connor Field. On April 23, the annual Easter egg hunt will be provided to all kids 12 and under in attendance.

At the completion of the first game kids will be able to collect eggs with candy and other prizes on the field.

Pizza Pro of Central has been the gameday sponsor of Warrior baseball for several years and they are also hosting "SWU Baseball Nights" every Monday during the months of February, March and April.

The SWU baseball program will receive a percentage of all sales that Pizza Pro receives during their normal operating hours.

Simply mention SWU baseball at checkout and enjoy good pizza while supporting Warrior baseball.

Pizza Pro is located in the Wal-Mart shopping center in Central, just off Highway 123.
