SUNSET - The Rocky Bottom Retreat and Conference Center for the Blind is the play to be on Labor Day, as the Center is set to host a “Labor Day Fun Festival.”

The fest is set for 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday, September 5.

The day will feature great Southern cooking and souvenir Rocky Bottom T-shirts and caps.

Visitors will have a chance to shop the center’s Old Country Store, browse the yard sale and participate in the auction.

The auction will be held from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

A Fun Day drawing for $550 will be held at 5 p.m.

Attendees can also submit a bid on a six-bedroom beach house in Litchfield Bech for a week’s stay in the summer of 2012.

The Rocky Bottom Retreat and Conference Center for the Blind is located just off Highway 178 and is 16 miles north of Pickens, SC or 7 miles north of Highway 11 near Table Rock State Park.
