EASLEY—A new local car wash is redefining expectations.
Premier Car Wash Detail Center and Lube recently held a grand opening at its location on Calhoun Memorial Highway in Easley, and the new business is offering some unique services.
“What separates us from other car washes is attention to detail,” said Owner Marcus Colon. “Most car washes just let the vehicle go ‘as-is’. We pretty much give the customers a miniature detail while we’re cleaning their vehicle. That’s what separates us from everybody else.”
Packages for car washes start at $15 and range to $32. Customers can receive a basic full service wash, which includes an exterior wash, hand dry, vacuum interior, clean windows, and a dusting of the dash, door, and console. Customers can also go for a premier wash, which includes, among other things, a tireshine, under flush, rust inhibitor, air freshener, clear coat protectant, conditioner and sealer wax, wheel polish with rustoleum additives, and interior leather protectants.
Located next to the Firehouse Subs, Premier Car Wash held a grand opening on Memorial Day that attracted a wide range of customers. The new business offered Memorial Day t-shirts to the first 150 people, and gave out free food along with door prizes, and even a brand new ipad. The ipad winner was Mitzi Bowels, and Colon says the grand opening could not have gone any better.
“Memorial Day was definitely a good start,” said Colon. “I’ve never been a business where customers were thanking us for opening. The welcoming that we had was unbelievable, and I am proud to be part of this County and have a business in Easley.”
Unlike most car washes, Colon says the new business offers a high tech waiting area with computers and televisions included.
“The thought behind the concept here was that we realized that the customers coming to us were business professional,” said Colon. “They’re people that are always on the go, and what we’re trying to do is keep them occupied. We’re giving them a friendly environment where they can surf online at a free Internet cafe. We have nice flat screen T.V.s and comfortable sitting arrangements so that we can occupy people’s time.”
The car wash is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

“I believe, at the current rate and the welcoming we’ve received, there’s no doubt in my mind that we’re going to be successful here,” said Colon. “We’re scheduled to open June, 18, and we’ve had customers already coming in asking when we’re going to open.”
