EASLEY — Boy Scouts Troop 6 will host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday to help pay troop expenses.

The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is partnering with the troop

“Boy Scouts Troop 6 is in need of money to purchase camping materials and other equipment for troop activities,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “Please join these boys for a wonderful pancake breakfast on October 20th and help prepare them for a great upcoming scout season.”

The Troop 6 fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 5055 Calhoun Memorial Hwy., Easley, starting at 7:30 a.m.

Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $5 and can be purchased by contacting Ramey Dickerson at (864) 430-9464. Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.

Applebee’s will partner with any local nonprofit organization as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the nonprofit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraisers represent the restaurant chain’s latest efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
