IRMO — Mrs. Betty Mae Brown, 79, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at Lexington Medical Center after an illness. She was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late D.I. and Cleo Bryant Hendricks. Mrs. Brown was a retired Cosmetologist.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Brown is survived by a son, Charles F. Fortner, Jr. and his wife, Sherri of Irmo; daughter, Cynthia L. Fortner of SC; brother, John Frank Hendricks of Pickens; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family is being served by Woodridge Funeral Home.
