CLEMSON — Clemson University police have charged a Greer man with stalking a Clemson University student.

In an email sent out to faculty and staff, obtained by the Sentinel, Clemson officials state that Justin Lee McClelland, 22, was charged with stalking after sending threatening messages to the student’s Facebook account.

Clemson University police have arrested McClelland four times this year for trespassing, police said.

A trespass notice remains in effect, police said.

McClelland is not a student, officials said.

McClelland is being held at the Pickens County Detention Center on a $20,000 surety bond.
