Liberty Idol to hold Golf Tournament

LIBERTY – Liberty Idol and the City of Liberty will host a golf tournament this year as a fundraising effort to raise money for the continued success of the talent competition draws crowds in to Liberty on summer Saturday nights. A portion of the funds raised will go to the Ronald McDonald House of the Carolinas.



Organizers want to continue the Idol competition because of its high success over the years.



The First Annual Liberty Idol Golf Tournament will be held on July 17 at The Rock at Jocassee golf course in Pickens. The tournament will be held on the Friday before the 2009 finale show.

All individuals interested are invited to play in the tournament. The cost is $200 per team with four players on a team.
