TRAVELERS REST — David Alfred Turner went to be with the Lord on August 10 2009 at his home with David and Shannon Adams in Travelers Rest SC. He was 64 yrs old born on Dec. 11 1944 in Pickens SC

Predeceased is his parents Floyd and Stella Turner of Pickens SC and one brother Connie Mac Turner of Ashville NC. Surviving are his Brothers Floyd Douglas Turner of Pickens SC and Billy Milton Turner of Lafitte Louisiana also his sisters Bobbi Gilstrap of Pickens SC Sue Woods of Easley SC Doris Smith of Travelers Rest SC and Mary Ann Bigans of Liverpool NY.

David worked as a brick mason for Troy Brooks in Liberty SC for 25 yrs. Later after retiring he moved to Anderson SC where he worked with the Haven of Rest and salvation Army until his illness. A private family memorial was held at the Missionary Baptist Church Aug 22 Afficiated by Pastor Danny Posey.

David fished in the all the lakes, rivers and oceans from Pickens to Florida and I know that there was many people that he met and fished with along the way that will miss him as much as we do. Rest In Peace
