LIBERTY — The body of Liberty man reported missing earlier this month has been discovered in a wooded area in Liberty.

Christopher Kimberly Clark, 58, of 140 Cleveland Road, was last seen on February 4, according to the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office.

Clark suffered from epileptic seizures and was without his medication.

According to Coroner Kandy Kelley, Clark’s body was discovered Wednesday afternoon in a wooded area off Porter Road.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital for autopsy, Kelley said.

The cause of Clark’s death is not known at this point, but Kelley said that foul play is not suspected at this point.

Results of toxicology tests are still pending, Kelley said.

The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office and the Coroner’s Office are still investigating Clark’s death.
