The Hagood Senior Center will hold a yard sale 8 a.m – noon Saturday, June 5 at the center, located at 129 School House Street in Pickens.
All proceeds from the sale will benefit the renovation work at the Center.
Sprucing up the senior center is funded through donations and grants. Last year the center received a $30,000 grant from the Lt. Governor’s Office on Aging to replace the center’s roof.
Currently, members are working to replace the building’s doors, said Frances Wannamaker.
