U.S. Coast Guard to offer boating safety class in Anderson beginning Thursday

The US Coast Guard Auxiliary’s Flotilla will offer its 8-hour About Boating Safety class beginning on Thursday, June 3rd from 7pm until 9pm at the Anderson County Library (300 N. McDuffie St., Anderson, SC). Following sessions will be at the same time and place for 3 more Thursday s on June 10th, June 24th, and July 1st. Cost is $30 per person and $15 for each additional family member(s). Course completion gets you a 10% reduction in your annual boat insurance premium.

Flotilla 25 is in their 25th year of providing boating safety service and is based out of Lake Hartwell and conducts safe boating patrols on both Lakes Hartwell and Keowee and conduct safe boating classes several times a year.
