We are writing to express our appreciation to the Pickens Sentinel staff for the wonderful coverage you have given of the on-going progression for the Community Library of Six Mile.
Since the initiation of this project to create a library in the town of Six Mile your staff has been supportive and sincerely interested in this endeavor. Because of your coverage, the Community Library of Six Mile has acquired a building to rent, and volunteers have stepped up and literally “out” to prepare the building for occupancy through their donation of services, energy, and time. Needless to say, the building is going through a facelift!
Our vision is almost a reality and again we write our heartfelt “Thanks”! We are anticipating our grand opening to be in the near future. We couldn’t have progressed this quickly without your staff’s assistance.
