The Pickens High School Blue Flame Ladies Golf Team.
The Flame was crowned the 2010 1-AAA champs, the first ladies golf region championship in the school’s history.
All-Region 1-AAA golfers were Claire Page, Maddisen Cox, Morgan Cox and Brittany Harkins.
Other members of the team are Stephanie Landreth, Madison Cooley, Hanna Hopkins, Maris Monroe, Caroline Myers, Lauren Townsend, Dupree Townsend, Lilly Turner and Alex Villano. The team is coached by Stan Butler.
Pickens finished in first with a score of 331.
Daniel followed with a score of 344, Seneca with 404, Walhalla with 457 and West Oak with 462.
Belton Honea Path did not qualify for the tournament.
The team competed in the Upperstate Tournament on Monday at Boscobel in Pendleton.
