PICKENS COUNTY – Lifelong resident of Pickens County and Master Deputy at the Pickens County Sheriff’s office, Chris Sullivan, is doing something that he always wanted to do.
“Law enforcement is something that I have always wanted to do. There are very interesting things going on in this field, and you never deal with the same things. Each day is different,” Sullivan said.
Sullivan is a 1998 graduate of Pickens High School where played offensive line on the football team.
Following High School, Sullivan attended Greenville Technical College where he graduated in 2002 with an associate’s degree in Industrial Technology.
He began his career in law enforcement in April of 2005 at the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office and graduated from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy in September of 2005.
Sullivan became a master deputy in 2008.
By working in Pickens County, Master Deputy, Sullivan, feels that he is in the right place.
“I get to serve the citizens and the community that I have been a part of my whole life,” Sullivan said.
Sullivan is a specific skills instructor and a field training officer.
He is also a married father of two.
