Jan. 23 – David Scott Bagwell and Alexander Timothy Rosa were arrested on West Main Street and Reece Mill Road in Pickens for trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, and public drunkenness.

According to a report, the Pickens City Police was notified by the county sheriff’s office that a Green Mercury Marquee would be entering the city limits of Pickens that contained possible narcotics. A traffic stop ensued and the criminal infractions were determined.

Jan. 27 – Christopher Steven Morgan was arrested at the McDonalds in Pickens for driving under suspension and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Jan. 28 – Jose Trinidad Moreno was arrested on West Main Street and Florence Street in Pickens for felony possession of a firearm/unlawful carry of pistol and no South Carolina driver license/speeding.

According to an incident report issued by the Pickens City Police Department, an officer observed a black Dodge Charger travelling at 41 MPH in a 25 MPH zone. A traffic stop was initiated and it was determined that the driver, Moreno, was carrying a weapon and did not have a driver’s license, according to reports.
