Marie R. Schrier entered eternity on November 30. Formerly from River Forest, IL., she served in the River Forest Special Police for 27 years. When she retired, she moved to Easley, SC. She volunteered at Palmetto Baptist Health Easley for 20 years. However, she considered her most important role in life was to be a devoted homemaker and caregiver to her parents, husband, and daughter. She is survived by her loving daughter, Dr. Annette Christy, and a very dear niece, Kathy Jochum (Tom) of Lombard, IL.
A very special thanks is given to the outstanding and caring staff at The Willows of Easley. Their kindness will never be forgotten. Also, Marie’s family is forever grateful to Sandra Hall, Donna Elgin and P.J. Fuller for being so devoted to her care and well-being. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Luke’s Church, Easley, in her memory.
